Pat Quinn, Governor of Illinois, has joined governors from Connecticut, Missouri, Mississippi, and Nebraska in support of the 1st Worldwide Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Day on November 10, 2010. With increased awareness both in the healthcare and patient communities, it is hoped there will be an improvement in the availability and quality of diagnosis, treatment and care for NET cancer patients throughout the world.
