Carcinoid and NET (neuroendocrine tumor) cancer patients, caregivers and family members, as well as physicians and other health professionals, have a unique opportunity to learn more about NET cancer, including the latest information about diagnosis and treatments, and to network with hundreds of others who share similar concerns and experiences when the 2014 National NET Cancer Patient Conference is held in Charlotte, North Carolina from Thursday, September 18 to Saturday, September 20, 2014. There will also be a special conference on lung carcinoid and DIPNECH on Sunday morning, September 21. Opening the conference on Thursday afternoon will be a session on insurance – appeals, interpretation of bills, out of network benefits, and ICD. The Emotional Implication of NETs Treatment will also be discussed.
During Friday and Saturday, in addition to the presentations, there will be two question and answer sessions each day.
