The Big Apple NETs support group invites you to join fellow carcinoid and neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients and 3 medical experts for Lunch with the Experts on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Westchester Hills Golf Club, 401 Ridgeway Avenue, White Plains, New York. This is a unique opportunity to share experiences with other patients and to hear from physicians who specialize in NET treatment, in an informal setting.
This special program was initiated and is sponsored by the Big Apple NETs support group, in collaboration with the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation. There is no charge for the luncheon thanks to the generous sponsorship of a friend of the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation.
The experts for the luncheon are Dr. Richard R.P. Warner, world-renowned carcinoid/neuroendocrine tumor (NET) specialist and Co-Medical Director of the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation; Dr. Edward M. Wolin, Director of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Program at Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care and Co-Medical Director of the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation; and Dr. Michelle Kim, Director of the Center for Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Tumors at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine, Gastroenterology. Participants will hear from and interact with these expert physicians in an informal setting on issues ranging from surgery to follow-up testing and new developments.
Interested individuals must register by email or telephone on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to first-time attendees. A maximum of 35 participants can be accommodated.
