NANETS 2020 Grant Recipient
Congratulations to Dr. Soares upon receiving the NANETS 2020 Theranostics Investigator Scholarship (NTIG) award! The NTIG is intended to push forward the boundaries of molecularly targeted radionuclide therapy and diagnostics for patients with neuroendocrine tumors.
Dr. Soares received the scholarship for her proposal, “The Role of HDAC Inhibitors in Combination to PRRT in NET Xenografts.” She will be mentored by Kathryn Morton, MD, Professor of Radiology at the University of Utah.
NTIG is made possible by the support of Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), a long-time supporter of NANETS’ educational events and research. NTIG is a two-year, $100,000 award. The NANETS Scientific Review & Research Committee establishes the award criteria, reviews process, and independently selects the recipient.
