Xavier Keutgen, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery and DIrector of the Neuroendocrine Tumor Program, Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, will discuss “Updates in Treatment and Management of Carcinoid Tumors.” Guests are invited to attend in person at the Wellness House, 131 N County Line Road in Hinsdale, Illinois, or via a live webinar, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, Central Time. Dr. Keutgen is a board-certified, double-fellowship trained surgeon who specializes in the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas. His clinical interests include minimally invasive and robotic surgery as well as advanced techniques for resection of neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases. Dr. Keutgen also has a particular interest in neuroendocrine tumor laboratory research, including trying to understand why some tumors behave more aggressively than others.
