Yale New Heaven Health, Smilow Cancer Hospital will present a symposium — A Thoughtful Approach to the Multidisciplinary Care of Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) — on Wednesday, October 3 from 5 to 8 pm.  Support for this special program is provided by the Academy of Oncology Nurses and Patient Navigators.  Topics for the evening include surgical management of NETs; medical management of NETs; liver-directed therapy; PET imaging and PRRT, peptide receptor radionuclide therapy; symptom management and supportive care, a panel discussion and a patient testimonial, with Q&A concluding the symposium.  The event is FREE and open to the public but registration is required.
