Join in person or attend online! On Rare Disease Day, 2017, the Arizona Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Foundation invites health professionals, health professional students and community members/patients seeking to understand carcinoid and neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) in the context of their own professions and lives.  Participation in the event will be available through in-person attendance at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine, Phoenix, Arizona and Banner/MD Anderson Cancer Center, Banner Gateway, Gilbert, Arizona.  Online, participation will be by Internet/video streaming provided through the Arizona Telemedicine Program (AT)).

This half-day event, from 10 am to 2 pm, Arizona time, will include a brief history of neuroendocrine cancer, signs and symptoms, early diagnosis opportunities, tests/assessments, current treatment modalities, highlight of patient histories and diagnoses, and new and upcoming treatment modalities.

The NET experts who will be participating are Dr. Edward Wolin, Dr. Eugene Woltering, and Dr. Boris Naraev.
