Neuroendocrine Cancer Patient Conference of the Carolinas, Charleston

The Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network, NCAN, is presenting a day-long NET patient conference on Saturday, March 2. The program will feature neuroendocrine cancer physicians speaking on topics such as an introduction to neuroendocrine tumors, diagnostic scans, clinical trials, liver metastases, controlling serotonin, interventional radiology, and PRRT, as well as a panel featuring NET patients.
Guest speakers are:
- Yi-Zarn Wang, MD, Baylor University Medical Center, Texas
- Salvatore Borges, MD, Duke University, North Carolina
- Marcelo Guimaraes, MD, Medical University of South Carolina
- Hal Gerstein, MD, Cancer Institute of Long Island, New York
The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Charleston Airport Convention Center in Charleston, South Carolina. There is a registration fee of $20.00 per person which includes continental breakfast, buffet lunch, coffee breaks and snacks.
