NET Fusion Live Educational Awareness Program on Facebook

11/16/2016 | 7:00pm - 7:30pm

A Facebook live online version of NET Fusion, a new educational disease awareness program from Novartis designed to help people with carcinoid syndrome better understand the science of food, will take place on Wednesday, November 16 from 7:00 to 7:30 pm EST and will be accessible on the Carcinoid Connection Facebook page.

NET Fusion spokesperson, Dr. Mike Fenster (a board certified physician and trained chef) and NET patient and patient advocate, Pat Murphy, will discuss key topics related to the role of nutrition/diet and how and why certain foods impact the body and can worsen symptoms. Click here for more information about diet and carcinoid syndrome.

People watching the NET Fusion Facebook live discussion will be able to ask questions of Dr. Mike and Pat about the role of nutrition and diet for people living with carcinoid syndrome.  Questions from the carcinoid syndrome community are welcomed in advance; please send your questions to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation at carcinoid@carcinoid.org by November 7 and we will share your questions with the NET Fusion team who will do their best to address them during the live event.
