Frankly Speaking about Cancer: Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Tumors, Philadelphia and Online

The Cancer Support Community of Greater Philadelphia will present Frankly Speaking about Cancer, a workshop on neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) on Wednesday, February 13 at 6 pm.  This FREE workshop for patients, loved ones, and the public will raise awareness about NET diagnoses, treatment options, managing side effects, coping with the psychosocial impact of carcinoid NET tumors, and how to foster constructive dialogue with your healthcare team. The featured presenters are Bonnie Bennett, RN, BSN, who is the Nurse Coordinator for the Neuroendocrine Tumor Treatment Program at the University of Pennsylvania, and Diann Boyd, BSN RN OCN, Oncology Nurse Navigator for the Neuroendocrine Tumor Treatment Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
