The 8th annual Run For The Stripes 5K run & 1 Mile Family Fun walk at the Philadelphia Zoo raises awareness and funds for research for neuroendocrine cancers. Proceeds from the race support NET research at the University of Pennsylvania, Abramson Cancer Center to find better treatment options and hopefully a cure for this rare cancer.   Race registration and entry fee includes admission to the Philadelphia Zoo for the day. Children under 2 are free.

The  5K starts at 8:15 am, 1 mile walk starts at 8:30 am. Entry fee includes admission to the Philadelphia Zoo for the day. Parking at the zoo $16. Race day registration (11/9) at the Philadelphia Zoo 7:00 – 8:15 am, $40. Packet pick up Nov. 8th, Friday at Philadelphia Runner, 3621 Walnut Street 3:00 – 6:00 pm and at the Philadelphia Zoo the morning of the race. Race held rain or shine. Sorry no refunds.
