Run, walk, or cheer on all participating in the 3rd Anuual Dean Paras Memorial 5K on Sunday, October 12th at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio.  Registration begins at 11:30 am and the Run/Walk starts at1:00 pm.  Malina Papanikolaou has organized the event in memory of her cousin, Dean Paras (pictured), who lost his battle with neuroendocrine cancer at the age of 26 in 2011.  The Run/Walk is both an opportunity to raise awareness of this often misdiagnosed rare disease and to support life-saving research.  The first two events, with over 350 participants at each, raised over $62,000 in support of neuroendocrine cancer research at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.  Several levels of sponsorships are available and individual donations are welcomed.  For further information contact Malina Papanikolaou, Malina531@aol.com,  or Toni Papanikolaou, tonip1056@aol.com, 440-838-1785.  Click here for theregistration form and click here for the run/walk poster.
