Dr. Vijayvergia specializes in the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors and other gastrointestinal cancers at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

For patients who don’t have a formal neuroendocrine tumor diagnosis from a biopsy, they will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For those who haven’t received a diagnostic biopsy, it may still be appropriate  to see Dr. Vijayvergia if other testing has been done (such as a full GI work up).

In addition to providing the latest standard of care treatments to her patients, she is also dedicated to researching new therapies and exploring biomarkers that can predict response to therapy and outcomes for neuroendocrine tumors. She has also gained regional and national recognition in her field through multiple peer reviewed papers, collaborative work, and representation on guidelines panels and committees at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), National Cancer Institute (NCI), and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG).
