Dr. Mechanick’s clinical interests include thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, nutrition, parathyroid disease, neuroendocrinology, and endocrinology.  He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), and is a member of thePresident’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition – Science Board.
