Dr. Kennecke’s areas of expertise include neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), gastroenterology, oncology, and rectal cancer. He is passionate about finding new therapeutics for patients with neuroendocrine tumors.
He is an active member of the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) and the European Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (ENETS), and has leadership positions in the SWOG Cancer Research Network and Center for Clinical Trials Network (CCTN) clinical trial groups and the Task Force of the US National Cancer Institute (NCI) GI Steering Committee.
