Dr. Hendifar is the primary investigator for several groundbreaking therapies, including radioimmunotherapy for neuroendocrine tumors. He is helping to develop the use of stromal agents and gene-targeted therapies in the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors. Dr. Hendifar’s research involves studying cachexia in his cancer patients. He has developed a treatment protocol in cancer cachexia that will increase understanding of this phenomenon. The goal is to develop new therapies for this condition.
