Dr. Richard R.P. Warner, Director of the Center for Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Tumors at Mount Sinai Hospital, has announced his retirement from his medical practice at Mount Sinai in New York City, as of November 1, 2016.
Dr. Warner said: “Following my retirement, my colleague, Michelle Kang Kim, MD, PhD, will assume my clinical duties and will have access to all of my medical records. Dr. Kim has cared for hundreds of neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients. She is not only committed to caring for NET patients, but also dedicated to pursuing research to improve available tests and treatments for NET patients.”
Dr. Warner will continue in his role as Co-Medical Director of the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, for which he also serves as a Board member.
