Patricia A. Pellikka, MD, cardiologist, echocardiographer and Chair of Mayo Clinic’s Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound in Rochester, Minnesota, will be the featured guest for Facebook Live Luncheon with the Experts on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 12 noon to 1 pm, EST.
Dr. Pellikka’s clinical focus includes: carcinoid heart disease, valvular heart disease, chromic ischemic heart disease, and applying echocardiographic imaging to evaluate disease and improve outcomes. Active in research and education, she has mentored over 100 residents and fellows. She studies the application of echocardiography and stress testing to accurately detect cardiovascular disease and improve patient outcomes.
Among Dr. Pellikka’s hundreds of publications is Diagnosing and Managing Carcinoid Heart Disease in Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors: An Expert Statement.
