Sean P. Cleary, MD, surgical oncologist and hepatobiliary and pancreas surgeon, will be the featured guest for Facebook Live Luncheon with the Experts on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 12 noon to 1 pm, EST.
Dr. Cleary is a member of the multidisciplinary neuroendocrine tumor (NET) team at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he is Chair of the Division of Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgery, as well as Vice Chair (Education) of the Department of Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Cleary holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Surgery, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. His clinical interests include the surgical treatment of pancreatic, hepatic and biliary malignancies with a specific focus on minimally invasive approaches to these cancers. Dr. Cleary’s research focuses on the genetic epidemiology of pancreatic and hepatocellular cancers.
Dr. Cleary is President of the Canadian Association of General Surgeons and an Officer of The Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (AHPBA), which is dedicated to relieving the human suffering caused by HPB disorders throughout the world, by improving education, training, innovation, research and patient care.
