Sugandha Dureja, MD, FEBNM, nuclear medicine specialist, will be the featured guest for Facebook Live Luncheon with the Experts on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 12 noon to 1 pm, Eastern Time.
Dr. Dureja is among the first Indian specialists with international training in peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) in Bad Berka, Germany. Her mentor in Bad Berka was Prof Richard Baum, one of the world’s leaders in theranostics, the emerging field arising from nuclear medicine in which drugs and/or techniques are used to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Dr. Dureja has extensive experience in Gallium 68 DOTANOC PET/CT imaging, PRRT, and the latest Alpha PRRT and Y90 therapies for neuroendocrine tumor patients. She has a special interest and experience in radionuclide therapy for the management of neuroendocrine and prostate cancers.
The founder of CNETS India, which is a member of the International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA), Dr. Dureja is also actively involved with other cancer support groups in India. She holds a European Board Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Dureja is a consultant in nuclear medicine and theranostics at Action Cancer Hospital, Delhi, India, and is also available at her clinic at DPMC healthcare in Delhi.
