Fighting NET Cancer with Grace and Gratitude

The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation is very excited to share what we have planned around this year’s Worldwide NET Cancer Awareness Day, November 10, and hope you will help us spread the word about NET cancer to support and inspire one another, and those yet to be diagnosed.

This week we launched an infographic in hopes of helping undiagnosed people with NET cancer obtain an accurate diagnosis.  Please share this, as we all know that it typically takes about 5 to 7 years for patients to receive the correct diagnosis

Today, we are releasing Fighting NET Cancer with Grace & Gratitude, an awareness-raising video developed with support from Advanced Accelerator Applications to inspire anyone living with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).  The video highlights many aspects of NET cancer, and concludes with participants sharing their gratitude as Thanksgiving is just 14 days from NET Cancer Day, a time span we are calling #14DaysOfGratitude.

This is where we hope you can join us –  we invite you to participate in #14DaysOfGratitude by sharing on the CCF Facebook page, on Twitter (the Foundation is @CarcinoidNETs), or by commenting on this blog post your appreciation for the things that matter most to you — including your friends, family, support group members, vacations, life milestones, hobbies that you love, etc. Your thoughts will offer hope to others. And please use the hashtag #14DaysOfGratitude whenever you post.

And, finally, please Go Zebra Striped with your profile photo on Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.

Thanks so much for your support!!
