Run for the Stripes, 5K Run/1 Mile Walk, Pennsylvania


Run for the Stripes

Now in its fourth year, Run for The Stripes raises awareness for neuroendocrine cancers and funds for NET research at the University of Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center.  The 5K run/walk will be held at the Philadelphia Zoo. Pheo Para Troopers Conference, Syracuse, New York

The Pheo Para Troopers will be hosting a conference and web event in Syracuse, New York on November 6 and 7. The mission of the organization is to empower and support pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma patients globally through knowledge, education, advocacy, and camaraderie while sponsoring key initiatives in data collection, treatment, collaboration, and patient wellness.

              Strdies for Stripes Zebra Walk

The Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network (NCAN) will hold its 7th Annual "Strides for Stripes" Zebra Walk on Saturday, October 24 from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at Eisenhower Park Field 6A in East Meadow, NY.  The walk helps raise money for programs that assist NET cancer patients and brings about awareness of carcinoid and neuroendocrine cancers.

New Jersey Carcinoid Cancer Network 2015 Conference


Registration is now open for the 2015 New Jersey Carcinoid Cancer NETwork conference on Saturday, October 3.  The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Edison, New Jersey and there will be a special room rate of $105.00 per night plus tax. Tommyland Charity Golf Tournament, Utah


The 2nd Annual Tommyland Tourney, a charity golf tournament to benefit the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, will be held at Sun Hills Golf Course in Layton, Utah on Sunday, September 13th. The tournament is being held in memory of Thomas Craig Patterson (pictured) who passed away after a long and courageous battle with carcinoid cancer.

Run for Hope 5K Walk/Run, Colorado


Now in its 11th year, the 2015 Run for Hope 5K Walk/Run will be held at City Park in Fort Collins, Colorado on Saturday, August 15.  This year Run for Hope will honor Dr. John A. Collins, a 10-year colorectal cancer survivor and Medical Director of Acute Care Surgey and Trauma for UCH North.
