THE MISSIONS OF THE FOUNDATION ARE TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT RESEARCH, TO INCREASE AWARENESS, AND EDUCATE REGARDING CARCINOID CANCER AND RELATED NEUROENDOCRINE TUMORS not to render authoritative medical consultations. If such an opinion were sought it would require review of all the specific technical details in a patients medical records including review of CT-scans, x-ray films, blood tests etc. A persons health is too important to have decisions based on casual suggestions and general impressions. A physician experienced and expert in carcinoid disease should be consulted for case specific questions.
