Cathartic Release II: Memorial Benefit Concert
Don’t miss this incredible performance by David Chitel and his band on Friday, December 4at The Triad Theater, 158 West 72nd Street, New York City (between Broadway and Columbus)!
The concert will be performed in memory of David’s mom, Joan Chitel, with all proceeds to benefit the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation.
Joan Chitel passed away due to complications from carcinoid cancer on December 17, 2003. The Cathartic Release concerts were created in her memory.
Cathartic Release II is the second year the group is getting together to perform songs by artists ranging from the Beatles to Kings of Leon.
Last year’s show was a SELL OUT, featuring the band as well as special musical guests. David Chitel and his band have been playing together on and off since their college days.
“I’m really excited about the line-up we’ve got planned for this year’s show,” says David. “Last year was a huge success and we raised upwards of $3,000.00 for the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation. With everyone’s support we are hoping to surpass that amount in 2009.”
David intends to put on his Cathartic Release Musical Jam for years to come.
Doors open for Cathartic Release II at 8:30 p.m., show time is 9:00 p.m. The suggested donation is $10 + at the door plus a 2 drink minimum. R.S.V.P. to David Chitel at davidchitel@hotmail.com or call him at 917-345-4025.
