A Cause to Celebrate:  The Lois Merrill Foundation is presenting "Wine & Art for a Cause" on Saturday, November 19th.  100% of all donations will be used to pay the medical bills of rare cancer patients who cannot afford the cost of their care. The Lois Merrill Foundation is an invaluable resource for carcinoid/NET cancer patients.

Learn more about neuroendocrine cancer research and clinical care when the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation presents an event for patients at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in conjunction with Worldwide NET Cancer Awareness Day.  Attendees will be able to interact with physicians, researchers, and other patients and their families at formal panels as well as during meals.  Patients and caregivers are invited to submit questions or discussion topics for the conference to info@caringforcarcino

Carcinoid/NETs:  Not your average cancer . . . is a day-long conference for patients, caregivers, family members, and medical professionals, sponsored by the New Jersey Carcinoid Cancer Network.  The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Edison, New Jersey.  A limited number of hotel rooms are available for $99.00 plus 15% tax on Friday night, code NJCCN.
