NET Diagnosis and Treatment:  A New Era -- A New Direction is the focus of the 2011 symposium sponsored jointly by the North American NeuroEndocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) and the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. The symposium will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

2011 NET Cancer Patients Conference Series

CCAN, Inter Science Institute, and Ochsner Medical Center, Kenner, LA present two regional conferences for carcinoid/NET cancer patients.  The second regional conference will be held in Dallas, Texas. The guest speakers will be Dr. Lowell Anthony, Dr. J. Philip Boudreaux, Dr. Thomas O'Dorisio, Dr. Aaron Vinik, and Dr. Eugene Woltering.  Information will be available at www.carcinoidawareness.org.

2011 Pheochromocytoma & Paraganglioma Symposium

A day-long symposium for pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma patients, healthcare providers, students, and community members will be held at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois.  Among the topics to be discussed are diagnostic imaging, cell histology, liver transplant, SDHD mutations, pheo during pregnancy, familial paraganglioma, treatments, pheo with cardiac ablation, and homeopathic treatment of adrenal disease.
