Stanford Neuroendocrine Tumor Patient Education Conference

Sponsored by the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation, this conference offers attendees the opportunity to learn more about neuroendocrine cancer research and clinical care.  The weekend kicks off with the Palo Alto Moonlight Walk & Run on Friday, September 9.  This 5K or 10K winds through the Palo Alto Baylands.  Saturday features seminars including "Hot Topics in Care" and "Psycho-Social Aspects of Advanced Disease."  Guests will be able to interact with physicians, researchers, and other patients and their families at formal panels, poster sessions, and meals.  For more information, visit http://2011stanfordpatienteducationconference.eventbrite.com/.
