"Multidisciplinary Management of NET Cancers"

This regional conference is sponsored jointly by the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, NANETS, and the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama.  The agenda for the day will include an overview of carcinoid tumors and other NETs, diagnosis of NETs, surgical options, the role of interventional radiology in the diagnosis and management of NETs, management of hormonal syndromes from NETs, developing a multidisciplinary treatment plan, and medical management of NETs.

The forum is designed for physicians and other health professionals from a variety of settings and levels including the specialities of oncology, endocrinology, surgery, pathology, internal medicine, gastroenterology, nuclear medicine, nutrition, diagnostic radiology, nursing, interventional radiology, and primary care.  This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Medical Associaiton of the State of Alabama through the joint sponsorship of the Mobile Infirmary Medical Center and NANETS.  CME Certificates are available.
