Carcinoid Cancer Foundation Symposium Sponsorship Opportunities 2011

Please join The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation (CCF) in bringing an important educational and networking event to carcinoid and neuroendocrine tumor (NET) patients, family members, caregivers, and medical students.  The Symposium will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from 1:00 to 5:30 pm at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

The Symposium will present carcinoid and NET patients and their family members with the opportunity to learn from two leading, nationally acclaimed physicians in the field who will speak about the latest research on and treatment of these complex diseases; hear from and ask questions of a patient panel, moderated by the founder of ACOR, the cancer e-lists; and network with others within the carcinoid and NET community.  Dr. Richard R.P. Warner, Medical Director of CCF and Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai, who has over 50 years’ experience in diagnosing and treating carcinoid and NET cancer patients, will introduce the speakers and be available to answer questions from the audience.

We welcome you to support patients living with the challenges of carcinoid and NET cancer by becoming a sponsor of this annual Symposium.  Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 to $5,000 and offer you the chance to:

Support a nonprofit organization with a 43-year history of encouraging and supporting research and increasing awareness of and educating the general public and healthcare professionals about carcinoid cancer and related neuroendocrine tumors;

Enable patients and their family members, who are confronted with the emotional and physical struggles of dealing (who are struggling with the emotional and physical aspects of) with these illnesses, to benefit from this important learning and networking afternoon;

Obtain marketing and public relations exposure and create community goodwill for your business through recognition as a sponsor on CCF’s website, Symposium advertising and programs, and at the Symposium itself.

In this, our 14th Carcinoid/NET Symposium, CCF is pleased to be able to bring the carcinoid and NET community together to discuss the latest treatments for these diseases and lifestyle issues for those living with carcinoid and other NETs.  We anticipate approximately 150 attendees from throughout the tri-state area and as far away as Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.  The guests will have the opportunity to network with each other, learn about support group options, and hear about the latest treatment and research findings.  Refreshments will be served.
