2014 National NET Cancer Patient Conference — Registration Now Open

Carcinoid and NET (neuroendocrine tumor) cancer patients, caregivers and family members, as well as physicians and other health professionals, have a unique opportunity to learn more about NET cancer, including the latest information about diagnosis and treatments, and to network with hundreds of others who share similar concerns and experiences when the 2014 National NET Cancer Patient Conference is held in Charlotte, North Carolina from Thursday, September 18 to Saturday, September 20, 2014. There will also be a special conference on lung carcinoid and DIPNECH on Sunday morning, September 21. Whether newly diagnosed or living with a NET for many years, this conference will feature up-to-the-minute information as well advice from specialists on the leading issues faced by NET patients.

National NET Cancer Patient Conference 2014 Guest Speakers

The Sunday conference on lung carcinoid and DIPNECH will focus on:

• Finding lung NETs and Their Metastasis
• Bronchoscopy, Percutaneous & Trans-bronchial Biopsies for Lung Lesions
• Surgical Approaches to DIPNECH, Primary NETs and Their Metastasis
• Role of Chemotherapy, Biologic Response Modifiers and PRRT in the Therapy of Lung  NETs

Opening the conference on Thursday afternoon will be a session on insurance – appeals, interpretation of bills, out of network benefits, and ICD. The Emotional Implication of NETs Treatment will also be discussed.

During Friday and Saturday, in addition to the presentations, there will be two question and answer sessions each day. On Sunday, a question and answer session will conclude the special conference on lung carcinoid and DIPNECH. Lectures begin at 8:00 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The registration fee is $100.00 per person through April 30, 2014; $125.00 per person from May 1 through August 31, 2014; and $150.00 per person for late registration from September 1, 2014 and on.
